on handling success or failure

The way people deal with adversities has an enormous impact on them. Positive thinking and resilience are very helpful when we face difficulties and failure in our personal and professional life. Successful people possess some common psychological traits. Do these include positive thinking and resilience? This project examines the components of positivity, shows how to change negative self talk to positive, analyses the factors that contribute to resilience and points out that they can actually be taught to young people. Schools can foster positivity and resilience, so that their students’ outlook on life becomes optimistic and they are able to face the difficulties they will encounter in their lives with success. The students answered questionnaires, through which they came to understand that as these are not inborn traits, by practising them they will grow to become positive, resilient and successful adults. Our study comprises a presentation and a poster with the same theme.
